The department of Media Studies at Maynooth University asked me to design a poster for the symposium “Drama on Demand: Perspectives on Contemporary Television Fiction”. The symposium, hosted panels on “Genre, Gender and Class in Irish TV Drama”, and “New Perspectives on Contemporary US TV Drama”. The way in which we watch and consume television and media has changed dramatically in the past few decades. Television has evolved into streaming as technology advances. The poster intends to communicate the evolution of television to present day, from a black and white medium to contemporary viewing on not necessarily even a television.
